John Meister
I have greatly valued what I have learned painting with the Plein Air Friends painting group. There is nothing like really picking apart the elements of one's own painting with honest and constructive painters that know each other well -- all while the painting is still wet. I have also discovered painting locations that I would have never found and made some fantastic friends in the process.
By painting on a regular basis with such a group, I feel that I have progressed farther as an artist than I thought possible in such a short time. I have benifited from multiple experiences and points-of-view and I know that I will continue to learn, to grow... to get better. Everyone takes a roll as both student and teacher in a journey that is ongoing. Thank you friends!
